Welcome!
Advanced Life Coach for Teens - providing one to one coaching sessions as well as individualised support packages.
Mum of four (including a teen) and a background in education, I have been working with young people professionally for over 15 years, and I am passionate about learning, brain development, mindset, and empowerment.
My life mission is to help teens understand themselves better and provide them with the tools to break free from mind blocks and confusion; thus creating space for them to reach their fullest potential and avoid many mental health pitfalls which start in adolescence and carry on into our adult lives.
The key to freedom is understanding, and once we understand what is going on with us physically and mentally, and why, we can learn to change our mindsets and patterns positively.
Many parents I speak with are concerned about their children's mental health - particularly given the 'teach to test' society we live in, and particlularly post lockdowns.
I help children with academic success, revision, career pathways, personal statements, CV writing and so much more, but everything starts with confidence, understanding and happiness.
Many of my young clients are neglecting their self-care, putting extreme pressure on themselves, wishing to make connections but fearing rejection, and finding themselves stuck in cycles of overwhelm.
A good life coach offers non-judgemental guidance, an opportunity to understand what is going on and why, lovingly holds space for her clients and holds them accountable for their own empowered goals.
I may be the facilitator, but my clients are the only ones who can truly transform their lives. Your child will learn she is not alone - that others feel the same way - we just don't notice a lot of the time. She will learn that fear is a survival mechanism designed to protect us and that we can allow feelings of gratitude to show up instead of resentment. This gives her permission to be kinder to herself and make more space for positivity.
Your child will learn the power of breathing techniques and visualisations and affirmations, he will learn to embody the feelings he wants to feel in the present by setting SMART goals for work-life balance, rather than pinning all his self-worth on future conditionals like exam results alone. He will start to enjoy coming up with rewards for the small steps taken rather than exhausting himself striving for elusive perfection.
My previous clients have overcome crippling anxiety, they have created successful self-care routines, found enthusiasm and direction, negotiated exam preparation with ADHD, made new friends, set boundaries, gained qualifications and jobs and university placements, they have stepped outside their comfort zones time and time again, and developed lifelong tools for happiness and success. I regularly get updates from former coachees updating me of their successes - and that's what it's all about!

One to one coaching sessions are typically 50 minutes and cost £70. This includes personalised expert coaching, empowered goal setting and personal support in-between sessions, regular feedback for parents and resources.
-
The Discovery Call is complimentary, and gives you the opprtunity to ask any questions you may have, as well as discussing your child's situation. During this call there is no pressure and we can see if we're a good fit for each other.
-
The first session with your child will give him/her the opportunity to decide if he/she wishes to continue. It is important that the young people I work with feel I am the right coach for them, and also that they feel empowered throughout the process. I too need to determine if we will work well together.

A block of ten sessions is recommended to really make progress, and there are payment plans available to help spread the cost.
-
Coaching beyond 10 weeks is flexible and discussed between us all as we go. A popular choice is to cut down to biweekly sessions and then to an 'every so often' basis. For some, 10-12 weeks is just enough to get back on track.
-
I am here for you and your child. Although there has to be a certain level of confidentiality to build trust, you will be kept in the loop and informed if I feel your child is at risk. If you sign up for a coaching container, you will also receive guidance on how to best support your child at home as we go through the modules - working on these things as a family is a beautiful way to help each other rise up and bond at the same time.

A 20% discount is available for families on benefits.
I'm sure you'll agree that life coaching is an investment, and as an educator, coach and mother, I want to reassure you that although the adolescent years can be really tough on our children, and scary for parents, it is also the best time to nurture positive pathways and growth mindset.
To Your Child's Future!
